Name: Talavera Calavera
Inspiration/Story: During this time of year, it’s a given that Chunder immediately makes me think of sugar skulls. I wanted a slightly less traditional look, so I took inspiration from the gorgeous Talavera pottery from Spain and Mexico. Adding a layer of textured glass brought together the pottery’s style with a look reminiscent of real sugar to create what I like to call “Talavera Calavera.”
